Dairy Flat Veterinary Clinic
Mixed, Small Animal
Full Time
9 Kahikatea Flat Road, Dairy Flat, Auckland, New Zealand
Looking for a role where no two days are the same?
Where you can lead, inspire, and still laugh over a shared win (or wine)?
Do you want to be part of a close-knit, supportive team while enjoying a rural or beach lifestyle on the Northern edge of vibrant Auckland?
THEN THIS COULD BE YOUR NEXT BIG MOVE!
Dairy Flat Vet Hospital is on the lookout for an experienced mixed or small animal veterinarian—and if you’re a senior vet ready to lead and mentor, we want to talk to you! We are a 3 vet, independently owned mixed practice, with a caseload of around 90% small animal and 10% lifestyle block/equine. We have a team that’s passionate about great medicine, mutual support, and having a good time while we work.
We’re offering flexibility for the right candidate - previous experience of a mixed role to allow support for our two junior mixed vets would be ideal however this role can be tailored for the right candidate to a SA caseload only. Full or part-time hours, and a leadership opportunity to help guide and grow the team. If you’ve got an interest in mentoring, clinical leadership, or simply want to shape the next generation of our practice, you’ll be well supported here.
What’s in it for you?
Varied and interesting case mix
A genuine leadership opportunity for senior vets who want to make an impact
Supportive and experienced team with a great sense of humour
Generous CPD, plus an “Advanced Practitioner Pathway” for vets wanting to develop special interests with extra funding and time off

Remuneration based on experience, including Vet Council & NZVA registration, CPD allowance, relocation assistance, and visa support if needed
Whether you're a seasoned mixed animal vet, a small animal expert, or a senior clinician looking to lead, we would love to hear from you.
Make your mark, enjoy your work, and love where you live.
